Our last couple weeks close to Boston

Last week I had to take Chase to Jacob Wirth Co. to eat and do all of the touristy things with him before we move to another area. Together we went to the aquarium.  It was worth going to twice and we spent about 2 hours there! We rode the swan boats which was also fun and visited the Holocaust Memorial. All of them I recommend doing if you ever make it to Boston.
I'm beginning to feel homesick so luckily we get to go home in a few months. Chase is still doing really good at his job and is enjoying it which is awesome! I finally got him to like Wendy's. I had frosty waffle cone tonight for the first time and I'm hooked. I am craving a home cooked meal so bad. Hotel living is nice because room service is amazing and having new towels everyday is the best, but I miss being able to cook.
What's new:
•on the last couple episodes of Gossip Girl
•there isn't a gym here so I swim and do water aerobics quite a bit
• high of 80° plus humidity is killing me, but my hair loves it
•we eat out lots
And that's about it for now.

Boston part 2

Today I did so many things! My friend and I took the train in again and we are getting pretty good at not having to ask people for help. We did the Duck Tour which was pretty good, but I personally liked the Freedoms Tour better. We also went to the aquarium which was amazing! It was worth going to. After we explored the city we found the Jacob Wirth pub. I was impressed with the food. I'm hoping to find out more about it but so far I know Jacob is a great great great uncle on my grandmas side and came over from Germany. It was fun the name has stayed the same!
I love it here, it is clean and everything is absolutely beautiful.

Boston!

We have been in Boston for a little over a week now and we love it here! It is so pretty and green! It rains quite a bit here. I have never seen such rain storms! We survived Hurricane Arthur.  Luckily it didn't really hit here.
Today a friend and I went into the city together by train which was fun. It was my first time on the subway! It's like a whole different world down there. It has food and all sorts of things.  We did the Freedoms Tour. It was so interesting to hear everything again. I haven't heard much about it since jr high so it was cool to remember and learn new things. I recommend doing it if you ever end up here. It rained today pretty hard while we were there. Everyone was looking at us like we were crazy for not having an umbrella with us.
The ward here is bigger than New York but still smaller. Everyone here is friendly also. They were more than willing to help us figure out the trains and getting around the city.

Until next time! ♡ - Hailey

Our last days on the Island

I have mixed emotions today. I am so excited to move to Boston, MA, but I'm sad to leave the Island. It has been so much fun here and it has grown on me. I'd live here in a heart beat. I love how developed it is with all the grown trees and old bridges. Every one for the most part is friendly and the apartments we are in are really nice. I'm going to miss it here!
Last week I went into the city by myself to meet up with my aunt. Taking the train alone was definitely out of my comfort zone. It was so easy though I don't even know why I was so stressed! When I got there my aunt, her friend and I went to China Town and Little Italy. I don't remember the name of the restaurant but I had the best gnocchi I have ever had in Little Italy! If you ever go to the city I recommend going to the Ferrara Cafe and getting dessert also. I had my first cannoli and lobster tail there.

Until next time!
